This is how the shop works:

First it is a reference guide...

Members should use it as a guide to find the lowest prices.
The price posted in the shop , (less 200,000) is still a small bit higher
then the lowest prices on the shop wizard. (as of May 2002)

As a member you are required to help maintain that price information.
Should you find that the price posted is no longer accurate please inform
bamma1999 so the new price information can be changed.

You will be asked to complete a task of finding the 3 (different) lowest prices
on the Shop Wizard from a list of certain items and report them back to bamma1999.
Example:

What are you looking for? Bottle of Red Sand
Search Items: identical to my phrase
Min Price: (Leave Blank)
Max Price: (Leave Blank and hit SEARCH SHOPS button)

When the "Searching for ... Bottle of Red Sand" page comes up
with a list of shops and prices... note the 3 (different) lowest
prices. In this case the only price is 1 np. So the three prices
to note would be: 1, 0, 0. because there are no other prices
listed on that page.

Members should therefore be able to look in our shop... find an item...
deduct the 200,000 nps and have a price that they would then enter
into the shop wizard as the Max Price: when searching for that item.
Now you will find lower prices to buy that item for.

May I suggest that you try to keep at least one of each item in your Safety Deposit Box to use when on quests.

When the page displays shops with prices less then the posted max price...
You can either purchase from those shops or continue to search for an even lower price...
pressing the F5 key and then hitting the ENTER key... till something
even lower shows up.

OR

You can take the lowest price on the page of shops displayed...
and by using your browsers backup button...
go back and enter that price into the shop wizard as the new max price to
search for. (Then start using the F5 - ENTER keys to see if anything cheaper is available.)

This will allow for our members to be able to buy stuff at the lowest
possiable prices... at times... cheaper then at the Neopets Shops on
half price day.

(The 3rd day of each month, All "Neopets site Shops" sell everything for half price.)

Second it is a Gallery:

By posting everything in the shop at a price of over 200,000 np each...
This gives the shop the appearence of being a gallery...
which means the general public will not find it on the Shop Wizard.
(Unless someone is just looking for gallerys) This will give us some privacy.

All items that are priced over the 200,000 will be available to the members
thru the Trading Post.
Items priced at 250,000 are one of a kind items donated by members
and will not be available to members.
(some may become prizes for achievements or contests)

From time to time... prices of items in Neopets skyrocket...
making them very hard to get or hard to find...
the items within the shop are available to members at the
posted price after deducting the 200,000 plus a Trade Item.

Members are urged to donate items they find at really
low prices (well below the posted actual price) should they
have extras they wish to share with other members.
It is not necessary.. but it would be nice.

The question here is:

Should the items (only one of each) that we have at least 10 of,
be posted in the Trading post to be available to members.?

OR..

Should we wait till we have more of that item.. or should the number
of items in inventory be less... and still available to members?

If we post the item in the T-Post then members can have an Idea
of what we have and what we need. We could post with a number
like, RESERVED 12 (meaning we have 12 available) or RESERVED 2
(meaning we only have 2 and more are welcomed) and of course
this will change daily.

The inventory is rather small at the moment, but building.
I buy when ever I can find a really good deal.
We do have some items where there are 10 in the Safety Deposit Box.
